BTC Sniffer is a free tool for reading the Bitcoin blockchain in plain language. You paste a Bitcoin address, choose what you want to see, and get a clear answer: how much it holds, who sent money to it, where that money went next, and what every amount is worth in your own currency right now.
It is built for people who are not blockchain engineers — journalists, investors, shop owners, anyone who has been handed an address and wants to understand it. You don’t need to know what a UTXO is. If you can copy and paste, you can use it.
What you can find out
- Balance and history — current balance, total received, total sent and the number of transactions, each figure also shown in USD, GBP and EUR.
- Counterparties — the addresses that paid into this one, and the addresses it paid out to, ranked by value and clickable so you can keep going.
- Money trails — follow the single biggest hop in or out, step by step, up to five levels deep.
- Flow — the biggest inflows and outflows side by side, plus a visual graph of how value spreads out from the address.
What it is not
BTC Sniffer is a lens, not a verdict. It shows what the public ledger records. It does not name the people behind an address, and it does not label activity as legal or illegal. It reads roughly the 50 most recent transactions for an address rather than its entire lifetime history, so treat it as a fast, honest snapshot — a starting point for a closer look.
Who is behind it
BTC Sniffer is made by DILIGIO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. More on that on the Who we are page.
